Here are a few ways to get started…

Pony Classes (ages 4-6 years old)

Looking for a way for your young rider to get some horse experience? These one time classes are the perfect introduction to horse safety, handling, grooming, tacking up and riding for your little one. Miss Liz is our wonderful teacher who is amazing at helping the most confident to the most nervous of young riders. After completing your first Pony Class, you will be invited to sign up for as many Pony Class 2 lessons as your little one would like. Pony Classes are $105 for a 90 minute group class. Intro to Horses 101 (ages 7-99 years old)

Intro 101 are a series of 8 classes and is perfect for:

  • a rider who would like to skip our waitlist and start learning right away

  • someone who just wants to have some experience with horses to see if they might be interested in riding more!

Our Intro 101 classes will teach interested riders the beginner skills needed to handle your horse on the ground, groom and tack up for a riding lesson plus lessons on horse safety and body language. After completing 101 you will be invited to sign up for our 102 class. Once 102 is completed and an instructor gives the ok, you would be able to skip the waitlist to go straight into our weekly lesson program. The cost of our Intro 101 class is $700 for a series of 8 classes. Find out more about Intro 101 here.

Weekly Riding Lessons (ages 7-99 years old)

Weekly Riding Lessons are for any riders who are very interested in learning to ride and would be willing to commit to a weekly (or twice weekly) lesson spot! RockMeadow Riding School is committed to helping riders grow in their riding and horsemanship skills whether they’ve been riding their whole life or have just started their riding journey, we welcome all riding levels from beginner to advanced. Weekly lessons are $410 per month. We do have a very long waitlist of people waiting for spots but if you’re interested, then please join our waitlist here.

For beginner riders, please check out our 101 class if you want to start your learning right away and eventually be able to skip the waitlist line.

For intermediate/advanced riders, if you already know how to groom, tack up and ride a horse, please join our waitlist here and email our staff at info@bigeqfarmllc.com to get more information on an orientation lesson.

Step Up Share Program (ages 7-99 years old)

For those of you who might be ready for a bigger commitment, our Step Up Share Program may be a good fit for you! A half share will pair you with a specific horse for 2 lessons per week and either a third lesson or hack time every other week (depending on skill level). Half shares are $1600 per month. Camps (ages 6-10 years old)

We have school break camps over Winter Break, Mid-Winter Break and Spring Break and sometimes even over long weekends! Kids will get experience with horse safety, handling, grooming, tacking up, riding and more! You can see more information on our School Break Camps here.
